This is my first go around with a trainer. I looked at tons of them online and finally decided just to go for it. This one serves it's purpose just fine, and I bought it for less than $100, and free shipping. It is somewhat loud, but that is just the sound of my tire riding on the roller. If I had a smoother tread it would quiet down. All steel frame, easy to assemble and adjust. I just use my gears on the bike to increase tension while riding. I set it up in my home theater room and watch DVD's (with headphones on) while peddlin away. No more missed workouts due to weather. Highly recommend.

This Schwinn trainer is very solid; it does not shift about; it attaches easily to the bike; it folds easily for transport in the car for vacations (what we bought it for); and it is not very noisy with trail bike use. Worth more than it costs!

I bought this for my son. He is preparing for a cross-country bike trip for charity and I wanted something like this so we could set his bike up and ride it during some fund-raising events. It worked well and he felt pretty secure using it.

So now it will be used for it's intended role this winter to help keep us in shape for next year.

It works good for my kids and my self, it my not be for the 200 mile a day pros but I like it.

I love this bike trainer. I needed to turn my new bike into a stationary bike for the winter and this works like a dream. Now I can ride my bike no matter how bad the weather is outside. I would recommend this to any Schwinn Bike owner.

This was purchased for my husband and it has been proven useful with each time it is used. He gets a great workout in the comfort of our home, but also on his own bike that he is used to riding in the spring and summer months.
